After the French parliamentary elections, there can be fewer ladies within the Assemblée nationale. Of the 577 deputies, 208 are ladies, or 36 %.
In 2017, the French parliament had a file variety of ladies, with 224 elected members, or 38.8 % of the hemicycle. In 2022, that quantity fell to 215 elected members, or 37.3 %.
The Senate, the higher home of the French bicameral parliament, has 36.8 % ladies, or 128 out of 348 senators.
The left-wing Nouveau Entrance Populaire (NFP), which emerged victorious within the parliamentary elections, sends probably the most ladies to the Nationwide Meeting: 78 out of 187, or 41.7 %. That’s barely higher than Ensemble, the centrist alliance of President Emmanuel Macron, with 66 out of 159, or 41.5 %.
The far-right Rassemblement Nationwide and the centre-right Les Républicains have solely 32.4 and 30.8 % ladies respectively.
