If you want to resell your business, know that it is a project that must be prepared well in advance. The preparation period can last for several years. You must therefore prepare to sell your business and step into the shoes of a potential buyer.

STEP 1 – ORIENTATION
Before selling your business, it is essential that you define your strengths and weaknesses and set up a disposal plan. There is still one essential question that you must ask yourself: are you emotionally ready to sell your business? You have the possibility to carry out the SOWACCESS transmission test.
It is therefore essential that you put yourself in the place of the purchaser. To do this, consult the Business Model during a business takeover. You will therefore have to improve the values of your company but also its shortcomings.
In the case of an intra-family takeover, you should (from the start of this step) discuss the subject with your loved ones. It is important, from a psychological point of view, to agree to discuss a potential recovery but especially to tackle the taboo question of money. The family buyer will also ask himself a whole bunch of questions: “How much will it cost me?” Am I ready to invest? “. This “orientation” step will allow you to avoid a whole series of future family conflicts.
To keep in mind : your company will be in direct competition with other candidate resellers whose transferor will have the same age bracket as you.
STEP 2 – EXAMINATION OF CANDIDATES FOR RETURNS
You will then have to proceed to the examination of potential buyers. This examination will therefore be carried out before the estimate of your business. As a result of this decision, the way you deliver your business will be fundamentally different.
ETAPE 3 – PREPARATION (POINT PRIMORDIAL)

It is therefore important to prepare yourself well in order to facilitate negotiations. This is when your MCP office will be able to intervene best and help you in the best possible conditions. Of course, there are certain peculiarities in the preparation stage depending on the type of assignment you choose. You will therefore have the choice between:
