Researchers have announced the best time of day to exercise

Researchers from China and the US recognized the best time for physical activity: it turned out that those who exercise in the morning are less stressed.

In the study, scientists focused on how to reduce the risk of obesity according to the recommended daily physical activity (150 minutes per week), taking into account the time of day. Data from more than 5 thousand subjects were analyzed with accelerometers. Volunteer activities were divided into 3 categories: morning, afternoon and evening.

Experts found a strong linear relationship between moderate and vigorous exercise and obesity in the morning section. The correlation was less pronounced in other sectors. In other words, participants who exercised in the morning had a lower body mass index and a smaller waist circumference than volunteers from other regions.

In addition, participants in the morning section ate more healthily. It is also interesting that the “morning” subjects spent more time sitting throughout the rest of the day.
