Scientists have uncovered clues about the properties of giant bubbles of high-energy gas that extend above and below the center of the Milky Way, according to Phys.org. In a study published in the journal Nature Astronomy, a team from Ohio University was able to show that the outer coverings of these structures are more complex, larger, and more active than their counterparts.
