The Integrity Investigation Board has the task of checking whether MPs adhere to the Code of Conduct. A citizen had previously filed a complaint against Baudet about additional positions of the FvD leader.
Every Member of Parliament is obliged to register ancillary activities in the register of the House of Representatives. Baudet did not do that in two of his positions. It concerns his role as board member of Forum for Democracy bv and his job as director of THPB Media bv.

After months of investigation, in which Baudet did not want to cooperate, President of the House of Representatives Vera Bergkamp now asks the House to decide whether Baudet should be reprimanded. This means that he must still register his ancillary activities. If Baudet does not cooperate, in the worst case he can be suspended for a period.

Baudet’s response:
“Baudet does not give up his additional income, just like his travels and gifts. These have nothing to do with his work as a Member of Parliament. If people do not trust him, he says, then they should not vote for him. Of course Baudet adheres to the law, and pays tax on his income just like everyone else.”
