Rescue workers find two more dead after Norwegian landslide | NOW

Search work in Ask, the South Norwegian village hit by a landslide this week, found two fatalities on Saturday. This brings the death toll to three, Norwegian authorities report.

At least ten people were injured in the landslide last Wednesday. In addition, nine houses were destroyed. About a thousand residents of the town, 40 kilometers northeast of Oslo, had to be brought to safety.

Seven people are still missing. The chief of local police has said there is still hope that the missing will be found alive.

Police have not released any information about the identity of the fatalities. Before the first victim was found on Friday, the official number of missing was ten, including two children.
