Search and rescue teams from the Massachusetts State Police and the Boston Police and Fire departments recovered the body of a 19-year-old swimmer, who was reported missing after several hours of work, on Thursday, state police said.
The state police shared on their Twitter account that at 5:45 p.m. local time this Thursday, crews flocked to Turtle Pond after receiving a tip about a person who apparently submerged and never surfaced again.
The dive teams of the corporation and the air division participated in the search operation.

More than two hours later, police said they had recovered the body of the young Boston resident.
According to the Police, it was determined that the victim, whose name has not been released, was dead.
