A live stream from Dumpling Mountain could be viewed via the website of the organization Explore, which makes webcams in nature reserves accessible. The man briefly held his head in front of the webcam (video: see below). Although the stream does not play any sound, viewers thought they recognized the words “lost” and “help.”

Explore employees contacted park administrators, who sent a rescue team to the webcam location. Three and a half hours after the report, the man was found unharmed and was brought to safety.
