On Friday evening, information was given about clothes without an owner on the seafront in Bergen. A rescue operation was launched, but quickly called off. The clothes have been there for several days.
– A witness has contacted the police, stating that the clothes have been there since Wednesday. No people have been reported missing in the West police district in the last two days, writes the West police district X/Twitter.
Divers from the Bergen fire service were sent into the water to search. A Red Cross boat also started a beach and surface search in the area.
The police write that they found the articles of clothing in Skjoldabukta at 8.30 pm.
