A man in his 50s receives treatment from health personnel after injuring himself in connection with a sleigh ride at Loen skylift in Stryn.
This is stated by Stine Mjelde, operations manager in the West police district to NRK.
The main rescue center in southern Norway sent the rescued rescue helicopter Florø and volunteers began to arrive after the report reached the police at 13.54.
There are many who take the gondola up, bring or rent sleds and fields down the slopes. This time there were two people on a sleigh ride, when one was injured. It is uncertain whether they were on or off the slopes.

Supervises health
He has our consciousness all the way, according to Mjelde.
– The police launched a rescue operation, and now employees from Loen skylift get in touch with the patient. He receives further treatment, says the operations manager.
– How injured is he?
– I can not go into that, but he is supervised by health in the city, says Mjelde.
The rescue helicopter has landed at the top by the gondola lift. It has not yet been clarified whether it will be used further. The injured man must be in the middle between the bottom and the top of the track.
Evaluating the helicopter
– There are snowmobiles in the city. We have to look at how to transport the person down, by scooter or in a rescue helicopter. It should not be very difficult to get there, says Mjelde.
The volunteers have not yet arrived, and there is probably no need for them in the city now, the police say.
They must also decide whether they need to investigate the case or whether it is to be regarded as an accident. There is no information that others will be involved.
