Rap is looking for a new general manager. The company, which manages the environmental hygiene service in Palermo, has published in the Official Journal of the Sicilian Region a public selection notice, based on qualifications and interview, to fill the position of general manager of the company.
The recruitment procedure was approved and authorized by the sole shareholder, the Municipality of Palermo, on 26 July.
Duties
The role of general manager is responsible for the following duties:
– direct and coordinate the activities of the services and offices for the best performance of the functions attributed to it;
– is the head of staff and supervises the best use of the same within the services and offices;
– assign personnel to the various services, also taking into account the size of the workforce;
– supervise all company initiatives in compliance with the directives of the administrative bodies.

Compensation
For the role, the recognition of a gross annual individual salary of 115,000.00 euros is expected. In addition to this, any incentive remuneration will be recognized in the variable amount established within the company for a maximum of €30,000 gross upon achievement of the objectives set by the company.
Requirements
Candidates are required to have generic requirements, such as Italian citizenship, absence of past criminal and/or current administrative convictions.
Among the specific ones, possession of a diploma is required degree obtained (Specialist Degree or Master’s Degree) and have matured experience at least three years in a position of high managerial responsibility in public bodies or private companies, preferably operating in the field of utilities (energy, water, environment and related services), as Manager, General Manager, Sole Director, CEO or equivalent or equivalent to them.
