The situation in the standings raises the conditions for Indonesian U-19 National Team to qualify for the semifinals AFF U-19 Cup 2022. Garuda Muda is not enough to win against Myanmar.
The U-19 national team will play their last match in the group phase against Myanmar at the Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi City, Sunday (10/7/2022). This match is a decision for the U-19 national team, which is still in 3rd place in the standings behind Thailand and Vietnam.
Victory over Myanmar is not the only requirement for the U-19 national team in their mission to qualify for the semifinals. In other Group A parties, Vietnam Vs Thailand will also compete at the Madya Stadium, Jakarta.

If you win against Myanmar, then National team U-19 will get 11 points. The U-19 national team will advance to the semifinals with runner-up status in Group A if Vietnam or Thailand beat each other.
If one of Vietnam or Thailand wins, then an additional 3 points will make one of them pack 13 points. Meanwhile, the losing team will be overtaken by the U-19 national team if they win against Myanmar.
In addition to the scenario of defeating each other, a draw with Vietnam Vs Thailand can also make the U-19 national team qualify for the semifinals AFF U-19 Cup 2022. The condition is that the U-19 national team wins against Myanmar and the Vietnam-Thailand match ends with a score of 0-0.
The U-19 national team will fail to advance to the semifinals if their rival ends in a draw with a score other than 0-0, such as 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, and so on. This relates to the head to head situation between Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.
AFF U-19 Cup puts head to head between teams with the same points in the final standings. The teams with the same points will be made mini standings and calculated on a head to head basis.
