Asked an OSS 3000 euros for a “real” certificate of Specialized Healthcare Operator (OSSS) and incredibly bogus internships.

I recently read in his newspaper about alleged bogus certificates per Social Health Operators in Campania and other parts of Italy. Well I didn’t believe it, I regularly played a OSS course in attendance and I obtained the qualification after discussing a small essay on social and health care for a disabled pediatric patient.
I graduated from OSS in Puglia, but I currently work in the province of Piacenza.
For some years I have wanted to deepen my training knowledge (I already have a degree in Education, but I can not find a job in this field) by starting a “specialization” path in time of Covid, or by obtaining the certificate of Specialized Social Healthcare Operator (the famous OSSS with third S) or with Complementary training (OSSC).
So I turned to the same training agency that allowed me to become an OSS the first time. The director was very kind, he told me about the costs and the need to follow the specific courses in streaming (even if I don’t know how to use the computer and I don’t use social networks, it was fine).
So far everything is regular, especially because we are in times of Coronavirus Pandemic and frontal lessons are strongly discouraged if not prohibited.
When I asked about internships, my arms literally fell to the ground. The director made me understand in no uncertain terms that they would have “discounted” them. That is, they would have made me turn out the hours of training even if I did not even do one.
Is it possible I wondered? And I who really wanted to train myself and who needed to deepen my knowledge.
I declined the invitation, telling him that I would think about it for a few days and that I would call him back. I have not done it anymore and today I am here to write to you to tell you about my misadventure.
Now I ask myself: if they have proposed it to me, how many others have proposed it to? Do you want to see that there are so many OSSS around who have never seriously followed training internships?
I’m disgusted. Ah, among other things, they asked me well 3,000 euros to get a diploma that will not help me and above all not to learn a damn thing.
The Italy that is falling apart is also this. As long as the training of the SDGs is managed by private bodies, we will never evolve and we will always remain support staff for the Nurse, with that minimum of autonomy that in my opinion is already a lot given the preparation of the vast majority of the glues.
