NEW YORK, USA, March 16, 2023.- On Wednesday, March 15, two months after the forced disappearance of the human rights lawyer Ricardo Arturo Lagunes Gasca and Professor Antonio Díaz Valencia, leader of the indigenous community of Aquila, Michoacán, Movimiento por Justicia del Barrio, a New York community organization made up of immigrants, once again demonstrated in front of the Mexican Consulate to demand the immediate appearance alive of the two social fighters.
During the action, the members of the Movement for Justice in El Barrio issued a statement reiterating that “Today, two months after the disappearance, our hearts are beating with rage more than ever and we are committed to continue fighting from the other side for the two social fighters”.
