Is it time for Alan to wake up again?

Among the rumors that Remedy working on Alan Wake 2 in collaboration with Epic, one has also appeared listing of a remaster of the first game on the Epic Games Store. Now we get more water on the mill as Taiwanese online stores have started to set up pages for just Alan Wake Remastered, with October 5 as the release date.
Many of these store pages have since been removed, but industry analyst Daniel Ahmad claims via Twitter that it “Will be announced next week” (ie this week). And what happens then this week? Yes, Sony arranges Playstation Showcase on Thursday (22.00), which feels like a great opportunity to announce the remaster. With that said, the store pages have included versions for both the Playstation and Xbox consoles, so it is unlikely to be an exclusivity.
Remedy has previously stated that they work on two different game project which Epic will release – one smaller and one larger, but both in the same universe. If the smaller project turns out to be Alan Wake Remastered we can probably therefore assume that Alan Wake 2 will become a reality.
