Republicans try to block law allowing non-citizens to vote in New York | Your Political City New York

The New York City measure would allow non-citizens who have been lawful permanent residents of the city for at least 30 days, as well as those who are authorized to work in the US, including “Dreamers,” vote in elections for city mayor, city council members, county presidents, comptroller, and public defender.
