Libreville, Monday, July 3, 2023 (Gabon Info) – The Head of State has been visiting the five departments of this northern province since yesterday Sunday. The press release from the Gabonese presidency.
“After completing his Republican tour in the Estuary on Friday June 30, the Head of State, His Excellency Mr. Ali Bongo Ondimba, arrived this Sunday July 2 in Woleu-Ntem to meet the populations of the 5 departments of this northern province.
In Oyem, the first stage of his stay in the Far North, the President of the Republic went to the Ngouema market, as well as to the Place de l’Indépendance where a dense crowd was waiting for him.
The Head of State then toured the Ngouema, Carrefour de la Douane, Carrefour SEEG, Methui, Akouakam, Carrefour Tougoutougou and Carrefour Koweit districts. He was received there each time with enthusiasm by the people.
He then took the direction of the Methui district road to launch the asphalting works that will open up this large district of the city of Oyem.
The President of the Republic will continue his visit this Monday, July 3 in the Far North by going to Minvoul, Mitzic and Medouneu”.
