On the part of the Holy See, Cardinals Luis Ladaria Ferrer, Kurt Koch, Pietro Parolin, Archbishop Filippo Iannone, Pré Archbishops Robert Prevost and Vittorio Viola. The participating bishops of the German Bishops Conference include Georg Bätzing, Stephan Ackermann, Michael Gerber, Bertram Meier, and Franz-Josef Overbeck. They are Chairman of the German Bishops’ Conference, Chairman of the Liturgical Committee of the Bishops’ Conference, Chairman of the Vocations and Church Service Committee, Chairman of the Universal Church Affairs Committee, and Chairman of the Doctrine Committee.
