Together for the preservation of jobs in the chemical triangle, that was the tenor of the recent visit of the SPD member of the Bundestag and Parliamentary State Secretary Dr. Bärbel Kofler, the SPD parliamentary group leader in the Bavarian state parliament and BayernSPD chairman Florian von Brunn and Ismail Ertug, member of the European Parliament in the industrial park in Gendorf.

Burgkirchen ad Alz – The CEO of InfraServ Gendorf, Dr. Christoph von Reden and the spokesman for the ChemDelta Bavaria initiative, Dr. Bernhard Langhammer presented the challenges of the chemical industry on the way to climate neutrality. Connection to the hydrogen network that is still to be set up, the expansion of the power lines in the chemical triangle and the planning for energy generation from wind and biomass in the region were important topics of the discussion.
Bärbel Kofler makes it clear that the Federal Government is keeping an eye on the Dyneon plant: “It is important to ensure that jobs and the production site are preserved. I know that Hubertus Heil, among others, took on this topic himself after his last visit here. I am in constant contact with him and my colleagues in order to provide support within the framework of political possibilities.”
The business and works council representatives thanked the SPD deputies for the exchange and their commitment at federal, state and European level.
