Dutch coach Martin Jol, former coach of Al-Ahly and Tottenham, entered the circle of candidates for the technical leadership of Pyramids, succeeding Ante Cacic.
Pyramids lost the African Confederation Cup title, after being defeated by the Moroccan Berkane Renaissance, who won the championship for the first time in its history.
The Pyramids management is seeking to settle the fate of the coach before the start of the new season, as the past hours have witnessed rage from club officials against the coach.
Several coaches were nominated other than the Dutch Martin Jol, including Ihab Jalal, and the Swiss Rene Weiler, the former coach of Al-Ahly.
It is noteworthy that the last version in 2019, the African Confederation Cup, was crowned by Zamalek for the first time in its history, at the expense of Nahdet Berkane on penalties with five goals to three.
