Central Mamuju, Katinting.com – Currently there are a number of reports of cases of dengue fever in Central Mamuju district, but the Health Office (Dinkes) has not declared the case of DHF in Central Mamuju as an extraordinary event (KLB).

When met on this website, Head of the Central Mamuju Health Service, Setyo Bero, Sunday night (02/07) said that until now it was true that there had been reports of dengue cases from several places in Central Mamuju.

He stated that the Central Mamuju Health Office, was still limited to prevention, by fooging at several loci where dengue cases were found.

“Locus data can be obtained from the Prevention and Infectious Diseases Division of the Central Mamuju Health Office,” said Setyo.

Therefore, he emphasized, even though there is data on the locus of DHF cases, but in the assessment according to the standard setting out outbreaks, this cannot be done.

“There are true DHF cases, but we haven’t declared an outbreak, we are still in the process of preventing them, from existing cases, prevention by fogging or spraying at several locations affected by DHF,” concluded Setyo. (Fatur Anjasmara)
