He drew attention to him with his huge physical formation and thick beard that resembles the American rapper Rick Ross .. He is Capello Rangwaja, the fitness trainer in the new Al-Ahly coaching staff led by Betsu Mosimane.
Al-Ahly announced today, Thursday, that it has signed an official contract with Musimani, the former South African Sundowns coach, for two seasons.
Musimani’s auxiliary apparatus included a general coach, a physical trainer and a performance analyst, in addition to maintaining the services of Sami Qamis as assistant coach, the Belgian Michel Yancon, the goalkeeper coach and Syed Abdel Hafeez as director of the ball.
Rangwaja, joined the Sundowns coaching staff since September 2014, specializes in all aspects of player fitness and regularly participates in international soccer seminars.
The 37-year-old grew up in a village in Rustenburg in northwestern South Africa, and he previously worked for Platinum Stars, in addition to the South African national team.
“Basically my job is to set up a training program for the team throughout the season. The main task is to ensure that the players implement the coaches’ tactics at 100 percent fitness levels,” Rangwaga said in a radio interview with the South African station “power987”, as he confirmed that his background is in the game. Karate was his inspiration in his current work.
Regarding his entry into the field of physical fitness, he said: “The starting point is to register in any institution for sports science. It is important to learn physiology, as you are the link between the medical and technical staff.”
He added, “Get a qualification in sports sciences, then get a training badge so that you can create a language of understanding between you and the coach.”
Musimani praised his services and his “good” work with the South African team, as he was credited earlier, accompanied by his auxiliary apparatus, for the team’s superiority during many matches .. And the new Al-Ahly coach said of him: “He takes care of the players’ bodies, regardless of training, and keeps them. In the best case, you should have a qualified technical person.
He concluded, “He can tell me that this player should not play a full game, and also indicates that I may lose him for a while if I ignore his advice.”
