Report: Ukrainian Oligarch Igor Kolomoisky Held in Security Service Pre-Trial Detention Center

The Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky is not in the Lukyanovsky pre-trial detention center, but in the pre-trial detention center of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). This is reported by the telegram channel “Observer”.

It is noted that, according to Kolomoisky’s entourage, he has already scraped up the bail money, but he is in no hurry to pay the bail.

There are several reasons for this, TK writes: the intention to reduce the amount on appeal, the expectation that detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) will come to him, the fear that new charges will be brought against him immediately after his release from prison on a large bail.

“Before he was detained by the SBU, NABU planned to give him a suspicion this week. Now plans could change. But NABU did not abandon their intentions to declare a “pidozra”. This will happen sooner or later, ”the source believes.

Kolomoisky’s entourage, according to the source, believes that the main thing for the authorities is to keep his guards in order to increase the oligarch’s dependence on Bankova and control him through a “managed” criminal case.

“It is important for the bank to keep Kolomoisky under control as part of the investigation conducted by the controlled OPs (by the president’s office. — EADaily) structures. That is, SBU and BEB. If Kolomoisky were taken by NABU, they could use this to extract evidence from him against Zelensky and the president’s inner circle. Now it will be more difficult to do this, ”the TC source quotes.

As reported EADaily, Ukraine will be a country without many years of “as usual” in relation to those who robbed it and put themselves above the law. This was stated by the head of the Kyiv regime Vladimir Zelensky after the arrest of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.

Recall, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv sent businessman Igor Kolomoisky into custody – with the possibility of making a bail in the amount of 509 million hryvnia ($ 13.7 million).

The verdict says that the term of arrest is 60 days, until October 31.

The meeting was held behind closed doors, as the oligarch’s lawyers insisted. Before the meeting, Kolomoisky managed to tell reporters that he absolutely did not agree with the points of the accusation, and “does not think at all” about the reason for handing over the suspicion (pidozry).
