Ashour is the most crowned player in the history of Al Ahly club, where he crowned with his team 36 championships until last season, which won the most in the Egyptian Premier League competition, which was crowned 12 times, to become the most crowning player in the local title in the history of Egyptian football.

Ashour contributed to the crowning of Al-Ahly with 11 continental titles, and despite the stoppage of the balance since 2014, he became among the most prominent players crowned titles in the history of Africa, including five African Champions League titles, and the same in the African Super Cup, next to the Confederation Cup in Africa.

And it is still a good opportunity for Hossam Ashour to enhance his career with football in many other tournaments this season in his last season with Al-Ahly, if the Premier League and Cup championships are completed in Egypt, with the return of the African Champions League in July or September next.

Al-Ahly led the league in the first round with 49 points to move away from its rivals, amid the club’s management’s claim to crown the title as soon as it was canceled. He will also face the arsenal in the round of 16 for the Egyptian Cup, and he will play against Moroccan Wydad in the African Champions League semi-finals.

Ashour hopes to continue chasing Alves outside the walls of Al-Ahly after retreating from retirement, in pursuit of his global dream as the most crowned player, and the player announced receiving two offers from both Saudi Arabia and Portugal, but he has not settled on his next destination yet.

It is noteworthy that the 34-year-old, who has played more than 500 games in Al-Ahly shirt, has decreased his chances of participating with the team during the recent period, especially since the contract with the duo Hamdi Fathi and Mali Aliyu Dieng, and Swiss coach Rene Vyler does not depend mainly on him.
