UVALDE – Police could have prevented the massacre at a Texas elementary school about six weeks ago. A University of Texas expert report released Wednesday (local time) said a police officer saw the gunman approaching the school in Uvalde. He asked his superior if he could shoot the man, but he didn’t hear him or it was too late. The officer turned to ask permission again. But by then it was already too late and the 18-year-old perpetrator walked into the school.
