Report: Giants are interested in Jackie Bradley Jr. and Eddie Rosario

One of the Giants’ top priorities heading into the 2021 season is to improve defensively. Given this, the San Francisco organization wants to sign a couple of patrol cars.

According to information from San Francisco Chronicle, lThe Giants are discussing the possibility of signing center fielder Jackie Bradley Jr., who has played his entire career in Boston, and Eddie Rosario, debuted by the Twins in 2015.

The Giants are the fourth team showing interest in Bradley during the low season. In addition to the California ninth, the Phillies, Astros and Red Sox have entered into talks with the 30-year-old patrolman.

For his part, Rosario, with six years of experience in the majors, all in Minnesota, hasn’t raised much of a buck in free agency. Faced with a possible departure from JBJ, Boston has also considered signing the Puerto Rican – especially considering that Bradley could leave Fenway Park.

The recent interest the Giants have shown in the two patrol cars is not the product of offensive deficiencies.
