A news report stated that an Argentine man in his sixties died as a result of being infected with the Corona virus, recording the first death from the disease in the country and Latin America.
The Argentine newspaper, La Nacion, said the man had traveled to France before returning to Argentina, adding that he had died on Saturday morning at the Cosme Argirish Hospital.
The Argentine health authorities have confirmed a diagnosis of coronavirus, according to Bloomberg News.
