(28.07.2021) The current study by gfs.bern on the replacement of today’s payment slips shows: The majority of companies recognize a need for action. Because from September 30, 2022, payments with the red and orange payment slips will no longer be possible in Switzerland. By then at the latest, all Swiss companies must be able to issue QR bills.

Switch to QR-bill or eBill now!
Companies are now challenged if they have not yet converted. It is particularly important to ensure that all payment receipts are sent at the beginning of the year, e.g. for installment payments with payment terms after the end date. The pressure to act increases here, as the changeover to the QR-bill must in fact already have taken place at the beginning of 2022.
Need for action for billers with hardware and software solutions
Payment transactions, and in particular accounts payable and accounts receivable, of billers with hardware and software solutions must be converted in good time. Companies that have not yet dealt with the change are recommended to contact their bank and their software partner immediately. These provide support with the necessary planning and conversion work to the QR-bill or eBill.
