Diaz turned up, drifted in and drilled in 1–0 with a delicious left-footed shot from distance. A hit that prompted Bellingham to speak out on X, formerly Twitter:
“My God Brahim,” wrote the Englishman.
How Diaz celebrated his goal? With Bellingham’s patented aiming gesture, of course.
Diaz was then forced to retire with an injury at the end of the match.
