A study says that eye health can help diagnose Alzheimer’s disease. The study appears in the February issue of the journal Acta Neuropathologica.
Scientists looked at retinal and brain samples from 86 people aged 14 and over. The samples show that there are retinal changes that correlate with Alzheimer’s brain changes.
If the eye can diagnose Alzheimer’s, lifestyle changes for sufferers can be made.
