Researchers suggest the possibility that somewhere in the solar system there is an alien spacecraft, spying on the planets with tiny probes. The research draft indicates that there could be an extraterrestrial spacecraft in our solar system that uses small probes to explore its surroundings.
Harvard University astronomer Avi Loeb and Pentagon spokesman Sean M. Kirkpatrick released a draft of their study on March 7. It is not an official Pentagon document, but is produced in cooperation with the US Department of Defense. So far, the study has not been peer-reviewed by other scientists.
Loeb is known for his work on the interstellar object Oumuamua – Loeb theorized that Oumuamua was an alien spacecraft.
Six months after Oumuamua’s approach to Earth, an interstellar meteorite about a meter in diameter fell on the planet. It’s not related to Oumuamua, but Loeb suggests that there is an artificial object in the universe that could potentially be an alien mothership.
As it approaches Earth and other planets, tiny probes are released from it. They are intended for studying planets.
The study suggests that such probes could be designed in such a way that astronomers cannot see them.
