An associative structure, managed by the community center* and for which the town hall has no management power, except when allocating crèche places.
“I have not received confirmation of registration”
“Last year I received an email confirming registration for my son’s crèche, but a few days before the start of the 2023 school year I still have nothing”, wonders Nathalie, mother of a 20-year-old boy. month. “I’m trying to find out if the service will continue and if so under what conditions, but I can’t find an answer,” says Cyril, father of a 3-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy.
Parents’ uncertainty about maintaining the Essarts crèche stems from the absence of the establishment’s director for several months, because she was on sick leave. “The management is ensured by his deputy”, tempers the City, requested by Progress. While Cyril and Nathalie have observed a lack of staff, the town hall assures us that “there is no shortage of educators”.

As a “solo mother”, Nathalie needs this means of care. “I am happy with this very competent crèche, which is why I would not want the service to disappear or deteriorate,” she says. “If it ever closes, we don’t know what will become of our children. We need to have them guarded five days a week, ”insists the Brondillant.
Parents can be reassured this Wednesday, August 30, when the childcare structure is supposed to welcome toddlers. In any case, the services of the town hall “have not received any information as to the non-opening of this nursery in September”.
