Reopening in Denmark: – Sex chaos and urination:

These days, Danes can enjoy the warm summer evenings with reopening, European Championships and student celebrations.

There are therefore many reasons why more people are now out drinking and partying in both the parks and in the streets throughout Denmark.

There is only one problem. In Copenhagen, several residents are now experiencing people peeing, pooping and having sex in both stairwells and gardens on private properties, reports the Danish media DR.

In Copenhagen, the real estate company Cobblestone says that the summer parties have gone over sticks and stones.

– Residents move

– It is the case that people both poop and puddle in people’s gardens and stairwells. And it is urinated in such large quantities that it resembles the Roskilde festival, says the CEO of Cobblestone, Rasmus Juul-Nyholm, to DR.

Cobblestone owns a number of properties along the harbor in the capital. It is one of the most popular areas for young people to meet in the summer.

Large parts of the areas owned by Cobblestone also have a number of large open spaces that are accessible to all. This means that large amounts of broken glass, disposable grills and other rubbish are often left in the areas, according to Juul-Nyholm.

– We see residents moving from the properties because it simply becomes too unbearable. Imagine that you live in an apartment with an open backyard and a small garden, and then every Saturday and Sunday you come out that people have peed and pooped in your garden, he says to DR.

Closed nightclubs

Normally, it tends to ooze partying in the city throughout the summer, but this time it is still different.

The nightclubs in Copenhagen do not open until 1 September, there is a bar stop at midnight in addition to the country’s largest festivals not being allowed to be held this year.

It makes more people apply to the parks, piers and patios to keep the party going.

DR has also spoken with the real estate company Newsec, which manages real estate throughout the country. They also say that there has been an increased proportion of complaints about noise, but they are not aware that residents complain about urination on buildings.
