Mortgages cost nearly three times as much as they did a year ago. This makes residential property purchases and rentals more expensive, though not all. But virtually everyone has to fork over increasing additional costs.

But something else is still missing, namely “money”, as the head and co-owner of the real estate consultancy Iazi said at the Immo-Forum 2022 of the Thurgauer Kantonalbank (TKB) in Weinfelden. Of money? When have central banks flooded the markets with free money in recent years?
