(CNN Spanish) –– Tina Galindo, a renowned Mexican theater producer, died this Monday, her family and friends reported this Tuesday through a statement released by her public relations agency.
The death of the person in charge of bringing works such as “Mamma Mia!” It was due to respiratory arrest. Her relatives asked for privacy at this very complicated time and highlighted the legacy she left for Mexican theater.
They added that very soon they will inform about the tribute that will be paid to Galindo.
Among other reactions, the official account of the Teatro de los Insurgentes provided him with an obituary. According to Galindo’s official account, she took charge of the productions at this venue located in Mexico City since 1995 and, together with Claudio Carrera, staged works such as “Una Eva y dos patanes” and “The Sound of Music” –with the participation of star Daniela Romo–, as well as “Los locos Addams”, among many others.
