Kyodo News reported that famous Japanese singer Shinji Tanimura passed away on the 8th of this month at the age of 74.

Shinji Tanimura is a native of Osaka. In March, he was admitted to the hospital for surgery due to acute enteritis. He later suspended work and was hospitalized to recuperate.
