The Acting Professions Syndicate in Egypt announced on Sunday night the death of artist Ashraf Moselhi at the age of 49.
Moselhi passed away after suffering for about two years with cancer. He lived his last days in intensive care and then died at his home.
His wife, director Manal Al-Saifi, announced that he had a brain tumor, and asked his fans to pray for his recovery.
The most prominent work in which the late artist participated was the series “The Choice,” which deals with the Egyptian army’s efforts to confront terrorism.
