The recent sale of The Rendezvous, one of Dublin’s most iconic restaurants, for €2m has paved the way for an exciting new chapter in its culinary history. Heading up the new-look kitchen is none other than former Les Gourmandises chef, Graham Neville, whose arrival has caused quite a stir among foodies and industry professionals alike. The newly named Swell Kitchen at The Rendezvous promises to offer an unforgettable dining experience, combining Neville’s renowned expertise with the restaurant’s long-standing reputation for exceptional service and style.
The Rendezvous gastro pub has been sold for approximately €2m, in a partnership with award-winning former Les Gourmandises chef, Pat Kiely. Following a year-long closure, The Rendezvous will reopen under Kiely’s independent ownership at the end of May, with an upgraded bar ready to accommodate 180 customers. The purchase was conducted by MC2 Accountants on behalf of its private clients, and Jim McCarthy, Partner at MC2, expressed his excitement at the deal. Meanwhile, Casey & Kingston are overseeing the leasing of The Outpost, a suburban bar suitable for use as a restaurant/café.
