With the closure of another section, renovation works on the M2 and M0 highways will continue from Monday, Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. told MTI on Friday.
It was written that between November 6th and 9th, the lane leading to Budapest on the M2 highway, in the section before the Kosd junction, will be closed for one kilometer.
During the period of the restriction, the traffic can move alternately in one lane in addition to traffic control by signalmen on the closed sections, they added.
It was also announced that the resurfacing works of the northern sector of the M0 highway are reaching a new phase, therefore, for four nights from Monday, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the next day, lane closures are expected on both sides of the highway junction in front of the 11 highway junction.
During the restriction period, the expressway at the junction of the M0 motorway and the 11 highway will be narrowed to one lane on both sides, the announcement states.
