On Tuesday, September 8, the renovation of the road surface on the Vidzeme highway in the section from Launkalne to the two-level traffic junction with the Smiltene – Gulbene motorway (P27) (114.0–126.4 km) in Smiltene region was started, informs Latvijas Valsts ceļi.
Drivers should take into account that there are two traffic light sections and a speed limit of 70 and 50 km / h during the repair phase. As part of the construction works, leveling milling, repair of sediments and repair of the profile, as well as laying of the asphalt surface are planned. Throughout this stage, the ribbon will be milled.
The works are performed by AS A.C.B. for a contract price of EUR 3.98 million (including VAT), which will be covered from the state budget within the framework of additional financing of EUR 75 million. According to the contract, 52 calendar days are allocated for construction works.
