Renovation of the Beverin block ramp in Bever approved

On April 21, 2022, the Bever municipal council approved a loan of CHF 15,000 for the renovation of the Beverin block ramp under the RhB railway bridge.

As the municipality of Bever has informed, the Beverin’s block ramp under the RhB railway bridge is badly damaged and shows cracks in the joints and holes in the flat ramp. The damage could be determined because the river bed is currently mostly drained.

The reason for this is the installation of the water and sewage pipes for the RhB buildings which are above the Beverin. There is now an almost unique opportunity to repair the block ramp with comparatively simple and inexpensive effort.

The costs for the renovation are unclear, but should certainly amount to around 15,000 francs. At its meeting on April 21, 2022, the municipal board agreed to have the block ramp renovated and approved a loan of CHF 15,000 for it.
