Jakarta, Selular.ID – Oppo is rumored to be releasing the Reno 7 series, by eliminating the Pro Plus series and instead adding its affordable SE series, which will use the Dimensity 920 chipset from Mediatek.
This makes the Ren 7 SE the first Oppo smartphone to use a chipset from the Dimensity 920 series, later this smartphone will also use three cameras, and will have a decent battery with 65W fast charging.
Because this product from MediaTek was introduced last May. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, built on a high-performance 6 nm manufacturing node, supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, a 120 Hz FHD+ display, and a 108 MP main camera for a great all-around experience.
The MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset is intended as a kitchen runway for the premium middle to mid class. Comparative statistics uploaded by GSMArena imply that MediaTek Dimensity 900 carries fast performance. MediaTek Dimensity 900 is able to occupy the top three positions in a row of premium mid-range and mid-range chipsets.
The Dimensity 900’s performance is only inferior to the Snapdragon 780G which is the kitchen runway for the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G. This proves that the Dimensity 900, which is the runway for the new HP Oppo reno 7 SE, can be a fierce competitor in the mid-to-middle premium segment.
Quoting from GSMArena, the phone will have a 12/256 GB version, but we rarely see one outside of China, global audiences will likely get the 8/128 GB one if this phone escapes the domestic scene altogether.
The display will have a 6.43” diagonal, and looking at the renders, it appears to be OLED as there is no fingerprint scanner on the back or sides. The cameras on the back are 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP auxiliary snapper. The selfie camera is listed as 32MP.
The Oppo Reno7 will soon be released in China by offering color variations, namely Blue, Black, and Gold. It will be released soon on November 25, 2021 with the alleged price being CNY2,699 or CNY2,899, which is around Rp. 6.5 Million.
