Rennes concedes a draw against Strasbourg

Rennes is still not taking off. Against Strasbourg, Bruno Genesio’s men conceded a draw in the last ten minutes during the 10th day of Ligue 1 (1-1). Adrien Truffert opened the scoring with a right-footed shot, following a cross from Lorenz Assignon. Lebo Mothiba equalized following a Kevin Gameiro strike pushed back by Steve Mandanda. In the standings, Rennes is 8th, but is already 6 points from 4th place occupied by Lille and 8 points from the podium. The Bretons have only won one of their last five championship matches. Strasbourg is, for its part, 14th.
