Today, Sunday, Israeli artillery renewed its bombardment of several areas in southern Lebanon, including Labouneh in Naqoura and the outskirts of Tayr Harfa and Maroun al-Ras and al-Jebin towards the town of Dhahira in the western sector, while Hezbollah announced the targeting of Israeli military sites.
The official National News Agency in Lebanon reported – today, Sunday – that a number of Israeli artillery shells fell on the forests of southern Naqoura.
The agency added that the Israeli forces fired incendiary bombs at dawn today at the forests adjacent to the Blue Line, causing fires in Jabal al-Labouneh and Wadi Mariamin. Flare bombs filled the skies of the western and central sectors throughout the past night, and the reconnaissance aircraft did not miss the skies of the region, all the way to the Tyre region.
On the other hand, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted 3 Israeli sites in Al-Dahaira, Jal Al-Alam, and Al-Jardah, and confirmed that it had achieved direct hits.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that sirens sounded in Shlomi and the Western Galilee adjacent to the border with the western sector of southern Lebanon, and in Margaliot and Al-Manara in the eastern sector.
Israeli Channel 12 reported the interception of two drones that infiltrated from Lebanon, and sirens sounded in Israeli towns.
Yesterday evening, Saturday, Israel bombed the vicinity of the town of Naqoura and Jabal al-Labouneh with heavy artillery shells, and military aircraft raided the outskirts of the town of Zabqin in two batches, noting that an explosion sounded in the sky of the western sector above the town of Yater, which turned out to be the result of the detonation of Iron Dome missiles.
Since October 8, the Lebanese-Israeli border has witnessed daily exchanges of bombardment between the Israeli occupation army on the one hand and Hezbollah and Palestinian factions in Lebanon on the other, leaving dead and wounded on both sides of the border.
