The Tanatech group was founded in Madagascar in 2008 by creating a candle manufacturing plant. But a year later, the founder, who is a visionary, decided to cease his activities by embarking on renewable energies, in particular solar energy.
“Our managing director is thus one of the agents of change in Madagascar. We started with a team of six people while being among the first to be the distributor, reseller and installer of specialized products in the field of solar energy. At the beginning, we presented four product references on the market. The first Green Shop store was then opened in Behoririka, not to mention the extension of our infrastructure. Fifteen years later, the Tanatech group offers more than 1,700 product references from different brands and ISO certified. And we currently have 129 employees”. The administrative and financial director of the Tanatech group, Bhagvandas Dishank Nilesh, exposed it within the framework of an event entitled “After work by Tanatech”, which took place last Wednesday at the Restaurant “La Plantation” in Ankorondrano.
Realization of a study of the energy production
The Tanatech group has a wide range of products from different brands such as Greengywatt, BMZ, SMA Solar technology, Growatt, Grün and victron energy. There are solar panels, batteries, regulators, converters and inverters as well as solar refrigerators and freezers. “We bring together the best brands of products with the best technicians trained by the companies that manufacture these original products to offer you impeccable services and bring clean energy. We are also positioned on the market as a trusted distributor and installer for our customers, made up of professionals and individuals, to name only hospitals, NGOs, call centers and hotels. The Tanatech group is thus acting for the energy transition in Madagascar with a better team with more than 15 years of experience”, expressed the commercial director of the group, Bhagvandas Ronak Nilesh. In addition, “integrity, responsibility, diversity, respect, well-being and social commitment are the values that allow us to develop”, he continued.
The Tanatech group also stands out from its competitors by providing specific support for its customers, especially in terms of studying their energy production. “Some recognize that energy demand is constantly changing in Madagascar. We thus offer four types of solar system, namely self-consumption (On-Grid), autonomous system (Off-Grid), load shedding and hybrid. We also have specific software used to precisely analyze the demand and solar production of our customers. We then draw up the load profile to have the sizing in order to offer customers the most profitable system. You can even customize their needs. And our products are subject to guarantees ranging from 5 to 10 years”, explained the technical director of the Tanatech group, Mparany Rakotoarisoa.
The Tanatech group offers a surprise to its customers
In addition, “four types of investments are proposed to launch into this solar energy. Either by the company’s own financing with a payment facility of 30 to 90 days, or via PPA leasing from partner banks, or via subsidies offered under the Sunref program financed by AFD, or via external financing technical and financial partners. We can even help customers in setting up their project to obtain this financing. Indeed, the use of clean energies provides many economic, social and environmental benefits, to mention only the reduction of CO² emissions. One KWp of panel installed is equivalent to six trees saved each year”, raised the administrative and financial director of the Tanatech group, Bhagvandas Dishank Nilesh. And as a surprise, “Tanatech offers a ‘Satisfied or reimbursed’ formula by making installations so that customers can test the effectiveness of our systems. This will be followed by a contract of sale,” he said. Users of products from this group also made testimonials during this “Afterwork by Tanatech”.
