The eldest son of the Canadian singer unveils his first project, a five-track EP titled “CasiNo.5”.
René-Charles Angélil, the eldest son of Celine Dion, in turn launches into song. And it is at the antipodes of the music of his mother that the young man of 20 years old cut his teeth: this Friday he unveils a first rap EP of five titles available on major streaming platforms, entitled CasiNo.5, under the pseudonym RC Angelil.
This release was announced by Celine Dion herself on Twitter, where she has nearly a million subscribers:
“I am so proud of my son,” writes the singer, with a link to this first EP. “My love for him is so strong… and it touches me deeply that one of his passions is also one of mine.”
René-Charles Angélil is the first son that Celine Dion had with René Angélil, her former agent and husband who died in 2016. The one who now calls himself RC Angélil has repeatedly expressed his taste for rap. He had already released a few tracks under the pseudonym Big Tip, broadcast on Soudcloud, and had appeared on stage at a concert with his mother to rap a song by Michael Jackson. On Instagram, he presents CasiNo.5 like his “very first project“.
