What is the Renault Megane Scenic E-Tech doing among the competitors of the Tesla Model 3? The dimensions are more compact, the engines are less powerful and the bodywork is not three volumes. Whether it’s short daily trips or long journeys such as weekends and entire holidays, the Mégane E-Tech Electric range has been designed to provide an answer suited to all needs and personalized in terms of performance, equipment and prices. Mégane E-Tech Electric adopts a compact electric motor that weighs just 145 kg (transmission included), 10% less than the one used by ZOE despite the significant increase in power and torque. Like the powertrain, the battery, completely new and designed to integrate perfectly into the CMF-EV platform, is lighter (395 kg) and 40% thinner than that of the ZOE. It is only 110 mm thick, the thinnest on the market, helping to reduce the height of the SUV thus improving its aerodynamics and efficiency. Two capacities available, 40 or 60 kWh, for a range of up to 470 km. Multiple charging solutions: up to 22 kW in AC and 130 kW in DC, more frequent on the motorway.
