Renault’s successor Kadjar, for whom the carmaker invented the new name Austral, will be completely unveiled on March 8 this year. But we can already see its basic features – the carmaker has revealed a sketch of the front of the car.

The sharp features of the bow are not unlike the upcoming electric megan, which was unveiled last year and also appeared at the Munich Motor Show in September. The dominant feature are thinner lights with lines across the bow. And of course new, flatter brand logo.

The sketch from the outside comes just days after the carmaker revealed a few photos of details from the cabin. Of course, she didn’t reveal the whole thing, we have to wait until March.

The carmaker writes about the exterior as “athletic, sensual and technological”, whatever the latter means. And that the designers targeted a “strong personality combining chic shapes and muscles, as well as a mirroring modern brand in the middle of Renaulution”, a pun from the words “Renault” and “revolution”, and is intended to express changes in brand strategy .

Austral is supposed to have a high line of windows, big wheels or contrasting plastic bumpers – these are all design elements of today’s SUVs, which spend the vast majority of their lives on asphalt. Of course, there are completely LED lights with signatures in the shape of the letter C.
