Renault continue to keep the focus on upcoming debut of the new Austral SUV. As we know, the car manufacturer will present its new model on 8 March. This car will go to replace the current Kadjar SUV and, for this reason, it is very important for the French manufacturer. After providing information on the new Austral over the past few weeks, the brand has decided to share more images of its SUV. Although the vehicle still appears disguised, it is possible to take a further look at its design.

The new SUV will rest on the CMF-CD3 platform. Speaking of his design, Renault said that this new model will be able to count on “proportions that convey a sense of robustness and agility“Looking at the photos, the front appears massive with very thinly shaped optical groups.
As for the cockpit, we already know that there will be a lot of technology. Renault in the past had stated that there will be two screens, one for the instrumentation and one for the actual infotainment, for a total of 24.3 inches. Obviously there will be support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The car manufacturer has also paid great attention to the choice of materials, with the fabric, leather and soft material that will embellish the dashboard. Internally there will also be several storage compartments for a total capacity of about 30 liters.

As for the engines that we will find under the hood, the French brand had already anticipated that they will all be electrified. According to what has been said in the past, the new Austral SUV will be able to count on a new generation E-TECH Hybrid engine, a 1.3 TCe mild-hybrid 12V engine and the new 1.2 TCe mild-hybrid 48V unit. The best performing model will have 200 hp (147 kW).
