You can purchase the new compact SUV coupe exclusively in electrified form. Renault Arkana offers a choice between mildhybrid and hybrid.

Renault is launching the highly anticipated Arkana model on the Czech market, which is the first SUV coupe of the mainstream brand in Europe. So far, only premium car manufacturers have offered this category in our country. The car comes on the market with only a pair of units. Prices start at 620,000 crowns.
This applies to a 1.3 TCe four-cylinder petrol engine tuned to 103 kW, paired as standard with a seven-speed EDC dual-clutch transmission. Renault calls it a microhybrid, but it is actually a mildhybrid. The car uses 12V for smoother start-stop system operation and brake energy recuperation. The alternator-starter and batteries help the internal combustion engine to accelerate, at the same time it is possible to switch it off during braking.

The E-Tech derivative is 20,000 crowns more expensive. He is already known from the offer of Clia or Mégan. It is a full-hybrid combining a 16-liter petrol engine with 69 kW, an electric motor (36 kW) and a starter-generator (15 kW). A special multimode gearbox with gear couplings, with two gears for the electric motor and four for the combustion unit, takes care of the alignment. The result of the cooperation is a combined output of 105 kW.
Zen standard equipment includes full-LED headlights, cruise control, 17 “alloy wheels, keyless entry, rear and front parking sensors, leatherette steering wheel, rear parking camera or automatic air conditioning. There are also electrically adjustable and folding heated rear-view mirrors, rain and light sensor, multimedia system with 7 “touch screen or six airbags.
65,000 crowns are paid extra for the second Intens degree. However, if you use the redemption bonus, only CZK 45,000, with 1.3 TCe EDC (103 kW), in such a case it will cost 665,000 crowns. The equipment is complemented by adaptive cruise control with stop & go function, automatic switching of low and high beams, blind spot monitoring, 18 “alloy wheels or a digital instrument panel with a seven-inch screen. There is also a driving mode switch, navigation with 9.3” screen, leather steering wheel or rear armrest.
The top is the RS Line with a sporty exterior, thanks to a specific bumper, specific 18 “wheels and a rear diffuser. Inside there is leather upholstery, a perforated leather steering wheel or a carbon-imitating decor. mirror or induction charging of the phone.
In any case, Renault Arkana’s offer will continue to expand. At the end of the year, a more powerful version of the 1.3 TCe tuned to 118 kW will also be sold, which will also be a mildhybrid.
